A large shed very lively with a mixed clientele and a live band on a Friday night. Late licence. I dont usually put music reviews in this guide, but the unpromisingly titled Funky Monks were excellent. A band who can follow a fine cover of James Laid with Tom Jones Its Not Unusual performed with equal aplomb are well worth seeking out! I was amused by the DRAFT WINE LIBFRAMILCH sign on one of the pumps. |

Nice decor in this standard Wetherspoons place. I visited shortly after they had given up over-size glasses, and not only were the pints short but we were (illegally) refused a top-up. Trading standards have since contacted the licensee. |
