This one bar pub with a nice layout with raised areas and a tiled floor has been badly neglected and was very tatty and grubby when I visited. One area was being refurbished which may indicate that things are improving. LSTV. |

A pleasant plain bar and a nice lounge. Music. Publicity on display for the "Tapster's Choice" guest beer scheme, but no hand pump was visible! There is a drainpipe in the corner of the lounge! |

This plain corner house with two bars plus a lounge and a pool room stands in splendid isolation in a formerly built up area. A little threadbare but clean and tidy. Completely dead when visited on a Wednesday evening. |

A two room boozer with a plain bar and a nice (but deserted) lounge. There were hand pumps for the two bitters but both were off on my visit. John Kemble, a famous actor, was born in Prescot in 1757. |

A large up-market very nicely decorated building with small rooms partially knocked through, and original wooden panelling. The exterior is nice, with lots of hanging baskets. The beer was excellent, and the all day food looks good. |
